🏅Legendary Gear

This section will cover everything you need to know about the different gear sets in Elyon.

You will not need to bother with green, blue and purple gear sets as everyone receives x7 Legendary Gear Selection Boxes upon creating a new character.

Gear Sets

There are 3 different sets of equipment: Sharp, Rapid and Cycling.

The base stats are the same for every piece, but you obtain additional set effects upon wearing 2 and 4 pieces of the same set.

Sharp Instinct Set:

  • 2 set effect: Critical Hit Rate +10%

  • 4 set effect: Critical Hit Power +20%

Rapid Will Set:

  • 2 set effect: Attack Speed + 10%

  • 4 set effect: Decreases coldown +10%

Cycling Insight:

  • 2 set effect: Increases Max Energy by 100

  • 4 set effect: Natural Energy Recovery +10

Theorycrafting

  • Since we can wear a total of 7 pieces, it makes sense to choose 4 pieces of one set and 2 pieces of another. While the 7th piece does not matter as much, but in reality it does. Keep reading.

  • The Cycling Instinct set is undewhelming compared to the other two for most builds.

  • So the right decision would be having 4 pieces of the Sharp or Rapid set and 2 of the other one.

  • In PvP, every class works better with 4 Rapid Will pieces, as coldown reduction offers so much value. On the other hand, critting is not happening often so +20% crit power loses value.

  • In PvE, some classes like Slayer or Paladin will still have higher dps using x4 Rapid and x2 Sharp. But most of the classes will be better with x4 Sharp Pieces.

  • A slighly higher PvE dps does not justify, in my opinion, losing so much potential in PvP.

The conclusion till this point is that everyone should use 4 Rapid and 2 Sharp pieces.

  • Lets say that someone wanted to be able to have 2 gear sets, so he could be optimal in both PvP and PvE content. The right solution for that would be to pick 4 rapid set pieces, while 2 of these 4 should be your weapons.

  • This way you could get 2 Sharp Weapons later on, keep the 2 set effect of the Rapid set and unlock the 4 set effect of Sharp set.

So now we know that your Main Weapon and Secondary Weapon should be Rapid.

  • Lastly, we should keep in mind that Judge Gear set exists. This gear is part of the endgame of Elyon and you will be able to equip only 1 piece of this set.

  • We must think ahead which Judge piece we will use. Most players will aim to get the Helmet.

  • So, we have to keep in mind that we will replace the helmet at some point, meaning it should be our 7th gear piece that does not affect our 4 set effect and 2 set effect.

Based on all the theorycrafting mentioned above, this is the recommended gear to pick:

  • Sharp Helmet

  • Sharp Gloves

  • Sharp Shoes

  • Rapid Bottoms

  • Rapid Top

  • Rapid Main Weapon

  • Rapid Secondary Weapon

Gear Enhancements

  • This kind of equipment can be enhanced up to +50.

  • Upon failing, the equipment enhancement does not drop and your chance of success will increase.

  • The base stats of the equipment will increase as your enhance it.

  • The gear will provide additional fixed stats depending on the enhancement level:

Aiming to get +40 weapons is the best way of increasing your grinding speed.

Gear Random Effects

Legendary gear provides 3 random effects, which can be found at 3 different stages.

These effects are one of the most important sources of stats for your character and every class requires different ones based on the skills they use their builds.

In order to reroll these stats you will need to talk to the Reroll Random Effect NPC.

On the right side you can see all the stats you can obtain upon rerolling.

  • Every reroll will cost 1 Random Effect Changer

  • You lock some of the stats you already have using Random Effect Locks

Gear Enchants

You can apply enchantments to your gear to obtain additional stats.

In order to reroll these stats you will need to talk to the Enchanter NPC.

There are 3 different enchantments we can apply, each will require different materials.

(1) Enchantment Effect:

The best way to obtain Golden Magic Stones is grinding at Exile's Island.

You can get a combination of the following stats:

There is a really small chance of obtaining a Special Effect upon rerolling the first enchantment of your gear, only keep it if the Main Effect is also good.

Warning: If you reroll your first enchantment effect, the Additional Enchantment Effects and Special Effects of your equipment will be removed in the process.

(2) Additional Enchantment Effects

You can get a combination of the followingg stats excluding those that you already have in your first enchantment:

The best way to obtain Starlight Magic Stones is grinding at Frozen City.

(3) Special Effects

Concentrated Magic Stones are a really rare item that can be crafted using Alchemy.

You can get one of the following effects depending on which gear piece you enchant:
